
We’re excited to spotlight On The Mic Training (OTM), one of North America’s leading voice-over training schools. Founded in 2007, OTM has built a reputation for providing practical, industry-focused education for aspiring and working voice actors alike.
With locations in Vancouver and Toronto, as well as remote learning options, OTM offers accredited full-time and part-time voice-over training programs covering animation, video games, commercials, narration, audiobooks, dubbing, and more. Students learn from active industry professionals while gaining hands-on experience in broadcast-quality recording environments.

Michael Daingerfield
As a Master Impressionist and Voice-Actor, Michael Dangerfield has impersonated some
of the biggest stars in the world from Jim Carrey as Ace Ventura in the Ace Ventura
Animated Series on CBS to Harrison Ford as Han Solo in Lego Star Wars on Disney, and
Chris Evans 1 as Captain America in Marvel Superhero Adventures on Disney.
Michael has also appeared in some of the biggest animated tv series and feature film
franchises such as My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic as ‘Braeburn’, Ninjago as ‘Krux/Dr.
Saunders’, Krypto The Superdog as ‘Superman’, and ‘Sausage Party’ alongside Seth
Rogen, Bill Hader and Edward Norton.
In Anime, Michael is best known for playing Gintoki Sakata in Gintama which released a
feature film in theatres entitled Gintama: The Final.
Asia Mattu
Asia Mattu is a three-time award-nominated voice actor whose versatility knows no
bounds. She’s best known for her role as Rugo in the critically acclaimed show
Gigantosaurus, airing on Disney Jr. and Disney+. She also voices Aurora in fandom
favorite My Little Pony: Best Gift Ever and Rocky in Netflix’s hit kids show Super
Monsters.
In addition to TV and film, Asia can be heard in multiple video games, including Starship
Troopers: Extermination and Cadence of Hyrule. She’s also not afraid to be in front of the
camera, making appearances on Netflix’s Avatar: The Last Airbender, Murder in a Small
Town & The Flash. When she’s not talking to herself in a padded room, Asia is an avid
drummer, martial arts practitioner and likes to make pasta from scratch.
Saffron Henderson
Saffron has had the honor of voicing hundreds of characters from spunky kids to sultry
villains and everything in between.
Her first Anime dubbing job was as the innocent, scrappy voice of Young Goku and
Young Gohan from the OG English Dubs of Dragonball and Dragonball Z. Then came
characters like Oxnard from Hamtaro, Lieutenant Lucrezia Noin from Gundam Wing,
Sachiko Yagami from Death Note, Sota Hirugachi from Inuyasha, Sherry Belmont from
Zatch Bell, Shen Hua from Black Lagoon, Junko from Nana, Yotaro Rindo in World
Trigger, Sherry in Zatch Bell, Bloodberry in Saber Marionette J, and Auntie Witch in The
Girl Who Leapt Through Time.
Saffron’s animation roles include Lua in Kong, Kleo in Kleo the Misfit Unicorn, Skywishes
and Auntie Lofty in My Little Pony, Lumina in Barbie Fairytopia, as well as roles in Martha
Speaks, Molly O, Class of the Titans, Slugterra, and many more.
Saffron’s Video game credits include Saints Row, The Punisher, The Outfit, Sponge Bob,
Everquest, The Unit, Avatar, and Bratz.
Casting video game projects, teaching vo classes and workshops, and appearing at
conventions have added even more fun and meaning to Saffron’s long and busy career.
Jack Cox
Jack Cox is a Vancouver-based writer, director, and voice director working across film,
animation, and video games. His credits include projects for Netflix, Hasbro, Disney XD,
Crunchyroll, Viz Media, Toei Animation, and 11 Bit Studios, with experience spanning
screenwriting, dialogue writing, adaptation, voice direction, and performance. His debut
feature as writer and director, The Stickman’s Hollow, was released in 2026 through the
production banner Illusion Lake Entertainment.
Jason Simpson
Jason Simpson has been a professional actor for film & television and voiceover for the
last 25 years, with hundreds of credits for animation, dubbing and commercials, video
games, ADR, narration and more.
Animated projects close to Jason’s heart include Lord Viren, the villainous lead in Netflix’s
Emmy-winning fan-favorite ‘The Dragon Prince’; the monstrous Beast King Crocodine in
Dragon Quest, and animated shows like My Little Pony, Johnny Test, Ninjago, Polly
Pocket, Gintama, InuYasha, Black Lagoon, Death Note, Gundam Seed Destiny,
.hack//Roots, Ayakashi, Ghost in the Shell, Elemental Gelade, Tetsujin, Nexo Knights,
Geronimo Stilton, The Hollow, Sausage Party, Escape from Planet Earth, and many
more.
Alongside playing the terrifying Pridestalker, Rengar, in the global smash hit game
League of Legends, Jason has had the honor of voicing characters in dozens of amazing
video games.
Cole Howard
Cole Howard is an actor and performer based out of Vancouver BC. Since arriving in
Vancouver from Edmonton in 2008 he’s worked on many animated shows including My
Little Pony: Friendship is Magic, Marvel Super Hero Adventures, Gintama, Dragon Quest,
and Ninjago.
As a passionate supporter of the Vancouver voice-over scene, Cole’s work at On The Mic
voice-over training has given him the opportunity to encourage and support new
performers in the exciting and fun work of a voice-over professional. Playing
make-believe behind a microphone is a privilege and a gift and sharing that is a gift all to
itself!
Rachel Ondang
Rachel Ondang is a Vancouver-based voice actor with credits across games, animation,
and educational media. Her most notable credits include Lime(S) in Grand Chase:
Dimensional Chaser and Miss Mia in Bimi Boo, along with her largest video game role yet
— still currently under NDA!
She has also contributed to several indie and student‑driven projects, including
Heartbreaker and Help Is On the Way from VFS Game Design, and she loves supporting
emerging creators through comic dubs, audio dramas, and collaborations.
Outside of studio work, Rachel occasionally streams on Twitch as CamilleLeonVT, a
chameleon‑themed VTuber persona she uses for improv and voice acting practice,
playing cozy games for fun and helping out at online charity events!
She’s excited to meet attendees and share her love of anime, games, and all things
voiceover!
