Cosplayers! Are your props event-ready?

Remember to stop by our Prop Inspection table, located on the Main floor by the Sales & Registration desk.
All weapons and large props must be inspected and peacebonded before entry to our other event areas.

Peace bonding is the convention security practice of marking props and weapons as being (relatively) safe to have on the convention floor. 
This process involves our Event Crew using non-adhesive flag tape to create a visible, tamper-evident identifier that signals the prop/weapon has been inspected and approved. 

Prop Inspection helps our staff quickly identify that an item has been inspected for hazardous materials, and that firearms are non-functional and deemed safe.

If your prop or replica weapon isn’t clearly marked by our peacebond tape, you may be stopped for inspection. The tape colour changes each day.
